The Engineering Academy is designed to offer students the opportunity for hands-on experiences in engineering, manufacturing, industrial and technical fields within the curriculum framework. Through partnerships with local businesses and a rigorous curriculum, students will gain the necessary skills to continue on to post-secondary educational opportunities in related fields. The three courses in the required sequence are Foundation of Engineering and Technology, Applications of Engineering and Technology, and Capstone of Engineering and Technology. Students who wish to further develop their engineering and computer skills may also choose to take Robotics Systems and/or Advanced Placement Computer Science.
