Attention all business savvy and enthusiastic students! DECA meets monthly in room 74 before school at 6:45 am. All current members and students who are interested in joining the club should attend. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. White in room 71 or Mrs. Leiser in room 74.
DECA is a world-wide organization that supports more than 150,000 high school students who are preparing for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, management and entrepreneurship.
From community service projects, competitive events, educational conferences, leadership positions, networking and social media, you’ll attain the knowledge and skills you need to be college and career ready.
Students are eligible to be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society by joining DECA. There are also scholarship opportunities for members of DECA.
Current membership dues are $20.

Baker’s Local Chapter of DECA does the following:
1. Chapter officers attend the Joint Leadership Conference each Fall.
2. The chapter meets once a month in room 74 from 6:45-7:05. Listen for the next meeting during the morning announcements.
3. Participate in at least one service project per school year.
