This is my 9th year at Baker. I graduated from Mississippi State with a Master's in Spanish. In my career of over 35 years, I have taught at both the college and high school levels. I was born in Puerto Rico, and have since traveled to many Spanish-speaking countries as well as to Europe, North Africa, Australia and New Zealand. One of my favorite experiences was living in Spain and teaching English as a second language. In addition to teaching at Baker, I teach as an adjunct professor at the University of South Alabama and am part of the worship team at my church, ClearWater Christian Ministries-Eastern Shore. I have four children, Kris, Elijah, Alex and Abbey. Alex and Abbey both graduated from Baker!
